Recruitment procedures and translator accreditation
We work with a team of experienced specialist translators who undergo a thorough skills verification process before joining us. Beyond submitting documents, certificates, and references, they are subject to our internal review. New translators are assigned trial projects in their areas of expertise to test translation quality. Successful completion of this process leads to accreditation, confirming both their competencies and areas of specialist medical and interdisciplinary expertise.
Our translators must meet strict criteria: excellent language skills, knowledge of translation theory and strategies for specialist texts, solid academic background, and strong professional aptitude. They must also demonstrate punctuality, good communication, and willingness to develop. To further raise the standard of medical translations, we encourage continuous training, which allows us to monitor progress during long-term cooperation. This ensures we can provide a broad pool of experts capable of handling almost any type of translation. For projects requiring highly detailed medical knowledge, we consult with doctors and medical residents.
Quality control: verification, editing, proofreading

Verification is the most crucial stage of quality control. It involves a qualified, independent translator comparing the target text with the source text.
We also offer native speaker editing, ensuring that translations read naturally and fluently in the target language. For materials intended for print, we perform final proofreading, including reviewing the verified text before publication (“galley proof”) and making corrections.
The last step in every translation project is internal quality control by the project manager. This involves checking completeness, terminology consistency with glossaries, numerical accuracy, as well as layout and formatting.
